Tomoka Christian's Student Ministries for middle and high school students offers three identical weekend worship opportunities and two midweek experiences. They feature live music and Biblical, teen-relevant messages. Emphasis is on servanthood as illustrated through the motto “Choose 3rd,” which encourages the youth to put God first, everyone else second and themselves third. Hello to all! Lots of fun things coming up that I wanted to share with you. - A Year in the Book! Our Bible reading plan for 2010 is online here.
CIY believe (March 12-13) for middle school still has a couple of open spots if you are interested please email me ASAP. Deposit of $50 is due.
CIY MOVE (June 27-July3) for high school students still has 10 open bus seats. If you are going, I will need a $100 deposit on the 7th of this month.
Ormond in the Pines – Sunday February 7th from 1:00-2:45.
**Changes Made** Spring Break Mission Trip March 28th – April 2nd to Common Ground Tampa. We will be working with many organizations in the community there. Cost will be $190 per person including all meals! Sign up starting this week!
Tomoka will host a 1950s-style rock 'n' roll musical, "Ruthie & Bo," based on the book of Ruth in the Bible, at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17. This musical extravaganza, which features Disney dancers and is a production of Tommy and John Thomas Oaks, takes place in the Worship Center. TCC encourages all middle school students through adults to attend the special presentation, and for that week only will not offer Tuesday or Wednesday night Awakening youth activities.
